Haruo Nakajima (Godzilla) was experienced in fighting other man-in-suit monsters, such as Anguirus in GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN. But in MOTHRA VS. GODZILLA his adversaries were a wire-controlled prop (the adult Mothra) and hand-controlled and mechanical puppets (the larvas), yet the battles are some of the most exciting monster action ever filmed, a testament to Nakajima's skills.
